For next week:
1. Update/Revise your literacy narrative, especially as we continue to read. Inform your narrative with our course readings. These will be due at midterm, in two weeks.
2. Read Chapters 1-4 in the Palmquist book. The focus here is not so much on technical skills (i.e. "how to" skills) but on rhetorical skills (i.e. "why to" skills).
3. Storyboard your multimedia/multimodal essay. (See the links that follow for help with this.) Gather and have available in class next week all media (video, images, text) you'll need to compose this essay. It will be based on your storyboard. We'll be working on the actual essay in class once we've discussed and workshopped the storyboards.
